SOPHIA SYMPOSIUM 2025: EXPLORING A JAPANESE FISHING VILLAGE THROUGH ART
November 12th/15th/16th 2025 This Symposium will present the findings of a collaborative research project by artists and academics who have engaged with the people, animals, history and environment of the village of Kitaushima on Sado Island to produce art works inspired by this unique place.
